
President Erdoğan wished God's mercy to the martyrs Pilot Police Chief Cemil Gülen and Contracted Pilot Levent Öztürk, patience to their families and condolences to the police force, and wished a speedy recovery for the injured technician who is under treatment.
President Erdoğan said, "May God protect all our security forces, including soldiers, police, gendarmerie and village guards, from all kinds of accidents and attacks." he said.
Wishing Gaziantep City Hospital to be beneficial, President Erdoğan said, “You see the work, we will do it once we promise, but this is how we do it. There's no such thing as talk like that. What suits Gaziantep? "Such works are worthy." he said.
President Erdoğan stated that the city hospital, which has a closed area of 680 thousand square meters, will provide service with a total bed capacity of 1875, 265 of which are intensive care and 30 dialysis, 64 operating rooms and 335 polyclinics, diagnosis and treatment centers as well as a parking lot for 4 thousand 500 vehicles. He stated that they will officially open the connection junction that will provide safe, comfortable and fast transportation to the hospital.
Stating that Gaziantep will be the center of attraction in the region, President Erdoğan said, “With these hospitals, we will hopefully not have any problems in the region from now on. Our brothers and sisters from Gaziantep will now benefit from this high-level health service in our hospital, which has advanced medical technologies and advanced facilities. With the official opening of our hospital, hopefully the equipment and personnel deficiencies in some of the units will be completely eliminated and the problems regarding appointments and services will be eliminated. “I believe that our Ministry of Health will solve this entire issue in a short time.” he said.
President Erdoğan, who remembered with mercy the more than 53 thousand citizens, 3 thousand 903 of whom were in Gaziantep, who lost their lives in the February 6 earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş, continued his words as follows:
“As one year has passed since the disaster of the century, which affected 14 million people and hit 124 districts and 7 thousand villages and neighborhoods of 11 cities, including Gaziantep, we are rapidly fulfilling our promise to heal the wounds. We are delivering the first houses to the beneficiaries in Hatay yesterday, in Gaziantep today, in Kahramanmaraş on Tuesday, in Şanlıurfa on Wednesday, in Adıyaman on Thursday, in Elazığ on Friday. We will not rest until the earthquake completely lifts our cities, with their infrastructure, superstructure, city center and countryside. May God protect our country and our nation from all kinds of disasters, accidents and troubles.
President Erdoğan emphasized that they continue to pave the way for the city and support its development with the investments they make as both the government and the municipalities, and said, “The hospital we opened will meet the demand for health services in the southern part of the city. "Mashallah, Gaziantep has surpassed the borders of our country and become a regional center with its industry, trade and agriculture." he said.
At the end of his speech, President Erdoğan congratulated those who contributed to the construction of Gaziantep City Hospital and other works that were opened.
