AIM:
To try to reduce dangerous and risky situations for our employees, to prevent accidents and injuries, and to provide a safe working environment.
To make arrangements in the institution and take the necessary measures in order to carry out the necessary activities to ensure employee safety,
To provide a safe environment for employee safety,
To identify possible hazards and risks for employees in a healthcare institution and to determine appropriate methods and techniques to eliminate these risks.
To ensure the sustainability of safe service delivery and safe working environment through in-service training.
To ensure that the physical, mental and social conditions of employees are brought to the highest level.
To ensure that any harm that may occur to the health of employees is minimized/eliminated

2.SCOPE: Covers the departments of our hospital. It covers all unit/units included in the Service Quality Standards.
3.RESPONSIBLE: All personnel, especially the chief physician and the employee safety committee, are responsible for the implementation of this procedure.
4.DEFINITIONS:
Employee: All healthcare professionals who provide healthcare services in public or private healthcare institutions, and those who responsibly participate in the provision of healthcare services and provide support to the provision of services, even if they are not healthcare professionals.
Employee Safety: Activities regarding precautions and improvement practices to be taken regarding all kinds of operations and processes that may cause employees to be exposed to physical or verbal violence during the provision of health services,
Employee Rights and Safety Unit: Accepts the demands and complaints of employees regarding their rights and safety in health institutions and organizations established within the scope of the circular numbered 2012/23 of the Ministry of Health, evaluates and reports their applications, forwards the reports to the relevant units and the ministry, initiates and follows up the necessary corrective and preventive activities. providing unit,
Violence: Intentional use of force, which occurs in the form of all kinds of bullying, assault, force, threat, insult and harassment, which are defined as crimes in the Turkish Penal Code, and may result in harming the physical, mental, spiritual, moral or social development of individuals,
White Code Application: Established within the scope of the circular numbered 2012/23 of the Ministry of Health, it is the effective operation of the system by closely monitoring it through the responsible chief physician, and in case of violence against hospital employees, the closest security guards and the White Code team are first sent to the scene to resolve and record the incident.
General Adaptation Training: This is the training provided to introduce the institution to personnel who have just started working in the hospital.
Department Adaptation Training: This is the training provided to introduce the department to employees who have just started working in the department.
Code blue: It is an emergency management tool that allows intervention as soon as possible to patients, patient relatives, visitors and all hospital personnel who need basic and advanced life support.
Areas Where Radiation-Emitting Devices Are Located: Departments where imaging services are provided, angiography unit, and areas where scopy procedures are performed in the operating room. Radiation safety precautions must be taken in all of these areas.
Radiation Warning Signs: These are signs bearing basic radiation symbols and symbols and colors that clearly indicate the danger of radiation exposure, used for warning purposes at the entrance of areas where radiation-emitting devices are located and in radiation areas.
Lead Protectors: In radiation areas; Used to protect patients, relatives and employees from radiation;

5.APPLICATION:
Health institutions that try to protect, improve or treat people's health must first try to reduce dangerous and risky situations for their employees, prevent accidents and injuries, and provide a safe working environment in order to achieve these goals.
PREVENTION FROM INFECTIONS
The measures to be taken against the risk of infection that our hospital personnel may be exposed to are determined by the "Employee Safety Board" and the "Infection Control Committee". Precautions to be taken against the risk of infection are stated in the "Infection Control and Prevention Program" of our Hospital.
Hand hygiene is very important for both patient and employee safety, and appropriate hand cleaning and glove usage methods for healthcare personnel are determined in the "Hand Hygiene Instruction" in order to prevent infections and cross-contamination.
Since our hospital is a tuberculosis hospital, the precautions that our employees must take to protect themselves from tuberculosis are determined in the "Tuberculosis Protection Instruction" and the "Infection Control Instruction in the Multidrug-Resistant Tuberculosis Service", and the rules determined by our hospital's Infection Control Committee and the precautions to be taken are listed.
