Prof.Dr. Ilgın Türkçüoğlu
Prof. Dr. Ilgın TÜRKÇÜOĞLU graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1999. Ranking 15th in Türkiye in the Medical Specialization Examination (TUS), Dr. TÜRKÇÜOĞLU completed her specialization in 2005 at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics.
She worked as a lecturer at İnönü University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics for 12 years and at Sanko University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics for 4 years. She trained many medical students and research assistants.
In 2008, at New York Medical College and Center For Human Reproduction in New York, with Prof. Dr. Kutluk OKTAY, he studied reproductive endocrinology and infertility, childhood cancers and fertility preservation methods in breast cancer (in vitro fertilization applications, oocyte freezing, ovarian tissue freezing and transplantation). She worked as a Research Fellow on ) subjects. Prof. Dr. Ilgın TÜRKÇÜOĞLU's work in the national and international arena; She has many scientific studies published in journals, papers presented at scientific meetings, and authored chapters in books. Prof. has served as symposium chairperson, session chairperson and speaker in many national and international scientific meetings. Dr. TÜRKÇÜOĞLU has editorial board memberships and referee duties in national and international magazines.
Prof. received the title of Associate Professor in 2012 and the title of Professor in 2019. Prof.Dr. Ilgın TÜRKÇÜOĞLU is the founder of two public in vitro fertilization centers: İnönü University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics and Gaziantep Cengiz Gökçek Gynecology and Children's Hospital. She has 10 years of managerial experience, including five years as Head of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics and 5 years as Chief Physician of Gaziantep Cengiz Gökçek Gynecology and Children's Hospital.
